The place was ideal and interesting. The staff were fantastic. I truly enjoyed the room with ample space. My bed was exceptionally comfortable. The location was beautiful down to the river. The hotel was really close to the outskirts of Angouleme and a nice restaurant for dinner.

Our stay exceeded our expectations. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect, with a lovely garden by the river and beautiful views. We appreciated having a small fridge available in the breakfast room, which came in handy for keeping our picnic cool. And the breakfast itself was delicious, with homemade jams and fresh bread.
We had a little trouble finding the entrance as it was kept shut and not immediately recognizable. However, once we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and shown all the facilities.

The view from the hotel room was breathtaking and really enjoyable as it allowed me to escape from the typical business trip. The breakfast was provided every morning and was delicious, with fresh pastries and breads. Additionally, the hotel was in a perfect location, close to the outskirts of the main city but still within easy reach.
The internet connection wasn't always reliable and would drop out occasionally, which made it difficult to keep up with my work emails. Additionally, there was no shower, only a bath, which made it complicated to have a quick wash and get ready in the morning.

The hotel is situated near the river, which makes it a picturesque location. the lake and riverside view is breathtaking. guests enjoyed walking around the property down to the river. the rooms are antique and spacious, with large bathrooms. Breakfast has a good selection of pastries, meat, cheese, and homemade preserves. the hosts and their family are attentive, friendly, and speak English well.
There were no tea and coffee facilities in the room, which is a bit inconvenient for some guests.
